I've suddenly started getting notifications whenever someone has posted in a thread (possibly only threads I have bookmarked, I'm not sure) and I don't want these! I haven't changed any of my settings, and so far as I can tell I've still got notifications set to never for virtually everything. Up until now I've only ever had them when someone's liked or quoted my posts or tagged me. Can anyone tell me what's happened, and is there any way of stopping it, please? Thanks.

Click on your username and then the "Edit Profile" button to the right of the screen. Choose the "notifications" tab to alter your settings. The default is to alert you if a thread you have bookmarked is updated so you're probably right that it's somehow related to that. My Adminy powers don't allow me to do it for you unfortunately. It's almost as if someone didn't want to let me loose with too much responsibility...

Thanks, Flumpet - I had already looked there and thought it was set to never notify me about anything, but looking again I realise it's set to never notify me by email. It looks as though Proboards must have changed the settings for notifying people on the forum, because those were all ticked, and I've never had notifications for most of them before. I've unticked a few now, hopefully that will stop it
