Each Time I come on site I get a warning that Malwarebytes has blocked a potentially dangerous Website, Only happens on here. Can you check that the place has not been hacked?

I've just had a look around and can't see anything wrong. I don't get any warning messages when I come on here. Is anyone else getting them?

Not getting anything like that either . Might it be worth giving your computer a complete scan Berghill? (although you probably know more about computers than me ) The only problem I've had recently is with randon adverts popping up, but I found out it was an extension that had appeared without me asking for it, and managed to disable it. A recent Windows update got rid of it completely.

I couldn't find any reference to it on the ProBoard support forums.

No problems here, either. I get the odd problem with the board freezing on me in the evenings sometimes. I think it's when they do their site maintenance.

Still investigating, but not found any reason for it yet. Wish it would say what it was blocking though instead of just a vague warning. Carries on I will put this site in the exceptions list so it is not checked.

Apparently the Ip address it is blocking contains a lot of 'nasties'. But still no indication as to why it thinks Proboard's IP address is the same. It does not stop me getting here which is better than some people's experience with this.

Robert is good at sorting out stuff like that but of course he has to be there. I only recently discovered too late that I was going to the wrong person with my computer woes, I wish I could send him over to you. He goes to places where DBH is feared to tread. And explains better. He wiped several things off my old computer that were slowing me down, they came up as malwares but weren't, they were just programmes that weren't needed. He said there was no point in asking Why? They just Were.

Well, I can do most things, but this one has me confucioused. Will wait for Grandsons/Son in law etc. to visit and get them to look. They are all geekish types.

Maybe it just needs a fresh pair of eyes, because after a while you can't see the woods for the trees.

I think I read that some people had problems due to Malwarebytes not liking some of the IPs of the adverts that are hosted through Proboards, but like KG I found nothing on Support that has been posted recently, it is a bit of a mystery Berghill. At least you can still get on until a "geekish type" can offer assistance
