Sorry everyone, I was just going through a miserable moment. You are all very dear to me All is actually OK here, just discovering how much I'm missing being inOZ and with Mum - especially as she is deteriorating mentally & don't know how much linger she will recognise me. Because of time difference my phone calls are in the late midday to early evening when she is particularly vague . It's just every morning begins with this sadness. If I was there we could doing things to make her happy but atm I have to try hard to fill her void with my much not less void. Anyway, please forgive. I may not post much in the meanwhile, but thankfully a few weeks of dry weather & can get my veg garden sorted for the winter

Mags it can’t be easy for you. You know we all are ‘here’ to offer advice, wanted or not, listen & understand as best we can. It’s not easy for you & the current situation worldwide is not helping. Do take care.

It must be hard not being able to see your mum. I hear that there are still lots of Australians trying to get home.

I think a fair number of us have been through parent ageing problems. It is hard. I wish there was something one could say that would help. Just take care and keep your chins up.

I agree with everyone, what a wise bunch the Tappers are Big hugs magstarLike much of the world, I’ve been feeling a bit sorry for myself as dear ones are so far away, but it’s nowhere near as bad as for you Mags.

I lost my mum 35 years ago. I wish Taps was there for me. Now, Taps is very important to me as an elderly woman living in a foreign country.
