Keeping the flow of conversations is easier here, good point Joany.

Interesting to read all of this - I don't have any problems here at all!
I have a FB account but it is really mainly for ex students and muso's but I hardly post there anyway. I dunno FB seems full of narcissism .... I don't like it at al tbh.

I wonder if it's because the whole system seems to be having glitches, currently. I swear it's something to do with BT Infinity. A bit like the PO putting in a Super first Class and the old First Class - everyone else down the line suffers as a result.

I agree about the narrcissistic tendencies - same with blogs Here feels like a community......

I like facebook for keeping in touch with leonie and Robert and a few family members, for having an emergency way of contacting TAPS members, but am SO wary of what I post now as I have such nosy cousins. I thought it would be lovely to stay in touch with them, but they, like MiL, use news as currency for when they phone other family members and have a good gossip.
And as for MiL... I swear she takes everything the wrong way on purpose, even her nephew in the USA suffers!

I have friends on fb too, but for me it's mostly a source of information about fings like organic gardening, ethics, co-housing, ecology and sustainables.
Lou posts a lot on fb.

Yes, she seems to prefer it. It's far easier to post photos and they get a wider audience - a more doggy one in her case. I did belong to a couple of plant groups but got fed up with posting photos in the end!

Is anyone else having problems on here?
I can only reply to posts using the quick reply box, if I try using reply, it says there is no message to post. I can't move between pages in a thread either, I have to go back to the board and click on the page I want.

Fine for me, Miss P. Might you have accidentally changed something, with your admin hat on?

I have been having problems, on and off, over the past two or three weeks. The smilies won't often work, I don't get email notifications of messages, it is incredibly slow at times, so that I can barely type. Maybe only one letter per word appearing. Logging in is very hard to do at times.
